Diesel Electrics wins Retail Automotive Business
of the Year Award.
Dalby is set to benefit from this innovative local auto electrical and diesel mechanical business, which has been recognised as a valuable part of the Dalby business community at the recent Dalby Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Excellence Awards.
“We know how costly time delays can be for our customers, so if it means getting up at one in the morning to get a truck back on the road or keep a machine going, we’ll do it.” Diesel Electrics owner Anthony Wenning said about what makes the company stand out from its’ competitors.
The award comes on the back of recognition from the Small Business Minister Chris Cummins who awarded this cutting-edge business a Small Business Accelerator grant earlier in the year to assist them in developing a business growth plan.
This family company, which took over the business in April 2005, provides high quality auto electrical services to the agricultural, mining, trade and transport industries. The business has shown innovation by combining traditional auto electrical services with new technologies and the funding from the grant will help them assess and improve their business processes.
“With so many new industries emerging in our region, we could see the need to ensure Dalby could provide high quality trade services.
“That’s why we decided to be proactive about getting these services up and running in advance.
“The last thing we want is to see new industries to the area, like mining and energy, having to go out of town for high quality trade services.”
